After your session, one of the most common questions I hear is:
“Can I just print these myself?”
Technically, yes — you can. But before you head down that road, I want to share a few important reasons why it’s worth having your images printed through me instead.
I’ve walked through the DIY experience myself, and I can tell you firsthand — there’s a big difference in both quality and experience.
Printing sounds simple — until you actually start. There are hundreds of websites, countless album styles, paper finishes, and cover options. Add in the design process — laying out your pages, choosing fonts, adjusting crops, and uploading files — and it quickly becomes a project. Just imagine, trying to make this work and make everything look cohesive (Artifact Uprising’s Design It Yourself Method)…

Even if you find a decent printing company, you might still end up paying extra to have someone else design it for you, or spend hours trying to figure out layouts on your own.
And honestly, life gets busy — most people never find the time to finish.
When you print through me, all of that disappears. I handle the design, the layout, the ordering, and the quality checks. You get to sit back, enjoy the process, and receive a finished, professionally designed album that perfectly tells your story.
Before I ever decided to sell print products, my goal was simply to help my clients find a great printing option on their own. I thought — if I could find a consumer lab that delivered beautiful results, I’d happily recommend it to my clients and let them handle printing directly.
So earlier this year, I decided to test one of the most well-known options: Artifact Uprising.
I ordered a family album for myself, eager to see if it met the level of quality I’d feel confident recommending.
And that’s when I realized — it just didn’t.
While the album looked fine at first glance, the foil embossing bled a little and didn’t look crisp or refined. The lay-flat crease didn’t rest smoothly either — it felt slightly stiff and less polished.
It was clear, this “premium” album did not meet the level of quality I want for the images I create — for my own family or for my clients.
That experience was a bit of a wake-up call. It made me realize that I didn’t want my clients to have to settle for “good enough.” I wanted to help them create something truly exceptional — something worthy of the memories we captured together.
That’s when I began offering professional prints and albums through ordering appointments.
Now, when you order through me, you get access to my professional printing labs — the same sources I use for my own family albums.
My Lite Albums feature crisp, clean foil embossing and seamless lay-flat spreads that feel as luxurious as they look. They’re made to last — heirloom pieces that preserve your story for generations. Just look at the difference up close:
Artifact Uprising’s “Premium” Lay-flat Album:

(Peep a scratch visible right down the front of the cameo picture… the entire presentation feels cheap and messy. Highly unimpressed!)
Lite Albums through my Professional Print Lab:

(Pristine foil embossing… I’ve had both of these albums for almost the same amount of time and the way the lite album has held up in comparison to the Artifact Uprising album is unmatched!)
And the best part? When you order a 10×10 album during your ordering appointment and use your $250 print credit, it actually ends up being about $119.05 cheaper than ordering a lesser quality album through Artifact Uprising with the design service added in.
So not only do you get a better product — you get it for less.
My actual receipt can be seen below. I did not use the design service and I got it during a sale…

An invoice that depicts what I would have paid without the sale on the album + adding in the design service…

An invoice that depicts what you would be paying for a higher quality album that I would fully design and order for you, taking all the stress of designing and ordering off your shoulders…

An invoice for a smaller 8×8 album with your $250 print credit…

When you order through me, you’re not just ordering from a printing company — you’re trusting the person who created your images to finish the story.
I know your gallery inside and out — which images pair beautifully, which moments belong together on a spread, and what products will best fit your home.
I care deeply about how your images are printed and presented, because I poured my heart into creating them for you in the first place.
When you work with me, you’re not just getting prints — you’re getting a curated, guided experience from start to finish.
Every album and print is thoughtfully designed to showcase your story exactly as it was meant to be seen.
You’ve already invested in beautiful, meaningful images — they deserve to be printed with the same care and attention they were captured with.
When you print through me, you can trust that your products will arrive ready to display, beautifully designed, and made to last for generations.
You’ll skip the stress, save time, and end up with a final result that feels every bit as special as the memories themselves.
